They won't bring it back because they regard it as a privacy issue.

Re: New Optus supplied modem - Sagemcom 5366TN

Hi

Has anyone had Success using the usb on the back of the Sagemcom 5366TN for files sharing and/or DLNA  - if i connect either a USB hard DISK or  PEN drive  i loose  connectivity to internet on the 2.4G wifi connection , the 5G  connection works fine.  Have tried rebooting router , modem on the current 105 firmware

Re: New Optus supplied modem - Sagemcom 5366TN

Hi, I have tried restarting my modem and it did not update the firmware. Where can I download firmware updates for sagemcom fast 5366 TN?

The last known version is SG4Y1T000105 .

You should be able to force an update by going to maintenance menu and just restarting the router from there.

Tried restarting that way. Tried turning off and on. With no luck thus far.

Yea, that's the bad one that it gets shipped with. I'm surprised that rebooting via Modem Settings -->  Maintenance --> Resets --> Restart does not work for you as every one else reports that that's the only method that works.

I assume you have a working internet connection (on the Optus network) when you tried it, right?

@YetAnotherAcc Yes I sure hope so. I am on the phone with them now maybe they haven't done everything on their side to ensure I am on.
