Re: New Optus supplied modem - Sagemcom 5366TN

Thanks.  I will try it out later when no one is using the net.

Re: New Optus supplied modem - Sagemcom 5366TN

Well, there is no prompt for "Apply".  Responded "Yes" from Restart, then firmware was updated to SG4Y1T000085 after reboot.

How to update firmware? Or where to download it to update.

Re: Sagemcom 5366TN release

No need to download. Once restarted, new firmware will be pushed to your router.

And once restarted and running the new firmware, some of those DHCP/LAN sections that haven't been changeable/saveable will now be so.

Re: New Optus supplied modem - Sagemcom 5366TN

Hi just wondering if its possible to have one of these issued as replacement modems for existing users like myself who were issued the white sagemcom F@ST3864V2several years ago when joining the nbn on a FTTP connection?

The old white modem has been getting progressively more and more unreliable and frequently stops working in all capacity except still having power. Phone and internet will all stop dead randomly and the only solution is to turn it off unplug it and wait a while before plugging it in and powering it up again. Tonight the all stop issue happened twice both times dumping all services on the spot

Re: New Optus supplied modem - Sagemcom 5366TN

Complain to Optus about the router, they will normally send you the latest model. Though, Sagemcom 5366TN is still very substandard.
