I have had my NBN overhead cable brought down and destroyed by a garbage truck this morning. It has been 3 weeks since I raised an initial enquiry to both Optus and NBN regarding the installation of the overhead which was too low. Both Optus and NBN continue to pass the buck and will not send a technician out to fix this. Now it's a dangerous hazard having to move the cable off the road and onto the natures strip, and it's a case where I have to use my phone data to stay connected and be able to work...this is going to cost me quite a substantial amount of money with a poor internet connection.
Poor customer service aside, I finally have made contact with NBN to at least fix the cable, but according to Optus they cannot get anyone out until early next week. I need this resolved ASAP and would like some assistance as I cannot afford to be offline for work.
