I have a TP-Link modem and it is 3 years old.
i had issues and optus got it working but the WIFI is still struggling to connect to our phones.
All my computers are hardwired into the modem and we only use WIFI for our phones and solar system.
any clues as to why the WIFI starts to play up? time for a new modem?
Does struggling mean you have some level of success?
1. Turn off any security on your wifi as a test and try connect then
2. Clear the existing wifi settings from your phone and reconnect as fresh.
3. Download a wifi analyser app on your phone and confirm your wifi can be seen
Hey @Karatekid, had you the chance to try out one of @petergdownload's ideas? Have you recently purchased any new equipment which may be causing interference? You can also try changing your Wi-Fi channel settings → https://yescrowd.optus.com.au/t5/Broadband-Telephony-Knowledge/How-to-change-your-Wi-Fi-channel-and-.... You can always upgrade your modem at any time. Depending on the Network we have you connected to a modem upgrade will cost you a minimum of $40.00. If you have any other questions, feel free to send them through.
