Just bought a new Dell laptop. When I try to connect to internet with my USB Optus modem it says that 'Yes Optus' is turned off (in available Wi-Fi networks). Goes immediately from 'connecting...' to 'connection terminated...' Works fine on old laptop sitting right next to it. The only way that I have been able to connect is to get online on the old laptop & then transfer the USB modem over once it is connected. Doesn't always work though. I presume there is a network setting on the new laptop that needs to be changed, but I can't find it. Can anyone help please?
