Just recieved and set up my mobile broadband service. The modem I have is the Huawei E5573 modem, the white one with the yes button in the centre.
My question is, this is my households broadband, can I leave it turned on 24/7/52?
My Mum really needs the broadband during the night, and I use it more during the daylight hours. So finding a time to switch it off for a period of time is going to be really tough. I’m hoping its just like my mobile phone, that I can keep it turned on 24/7/52.

The question is why do you think you need to turn it off?

Will it overheat?

No. Modems are designed to stay on 24/7. They can get warm to touch but nothing more than that unless they are faulty.

Even the mobile broadband modems?
Ok, new question... is sticking to the wall with command strips the same as it sitting on a table? I’d rather fix it to my wall, out of the way, that just leave it sitting on the side table.

Yep even mobile broadband modems
Sticking to the wall is fine. Just leave any side vents or top vents clear.
