Just reviewing my Optus mobile phone bill

dec bill $ 39.96
on hold for 30 minutes so far Optus ... frustrating chasing a problem that I don’t even know what the charge is for ...
Its a premium service charge and it would have to be the number 1 source of complaints on this forum. Have a look at anyone of the dozens of posts I have made on this subject on how to avoid this rouge company.
I got stung about 80 bucks from these jockers. Optus helped me by changing the premium slider to zero. I could never see the damn slider myself. I don't receive SMS as the card is in a pocket WiFi modem and never knew optus sneaked my details to Mia Sphere.
Optus online jockeys told me not to pay but I knew better as optus would then charge me for late payment.
Of course promised refunds after two online chats have not happened after weeks of waiting.
After complaining on here I've been asked to contact them again which I will, and they also banned any third party payments from my account. This is great but why didn't the online jockeys do this for me, instead of doing the stupid slider? I dreaded the invisible slider resetting by itself one day.
Dear Optus , these companies are a bunch of crooks. Nobody gets a warning that if you click again you will be charged. I have no idea if anything was even clicked! Why don't you get tough with these crooks and stand tall amongst the other telcos? You know from all the complaints , yet you sit there and have done nothing for all these years. Keep reputable, trustworthy companies and trash the rest, why associate with them?

This MiaSpherelive company, who I have not had any interaction with to the best of my knowledge, have been skimming my account for $50/mth since September! $199.80 apparently.
I pay by direct debit so did not realize this was happening till recently. Getting hold of someone to actually talk to at a phone company is harder than it should be.
