I have a Sagemcom model via cable with an IP address of 192.168.0.1. Suddenly I am no longer able to access the device. When I go to the IP address and login it prompts me for the username and password with the message:-
Your connection to this site is not private
I have tried the following:-
1. Restarting all the devices an machines
2. Access via Wired network
3. Access via wireless connection
4. Various browsers
5. Disables firewall and anti virus
Obviously something has changed but I do not know what. Apart from trying to reset the modem to factory settings is there any other options to try.
I have seen a similar post but I do not have acces to the solved tickets.

Depending on which browser/device you use I'm guessing you see something like this:
That should be cause by trying to access the router using https instead of http. Does http://192.168.0.1/ work?
Have you ever changed the password before? If so, have you tried both the new password and the original password from the sticker on the bottom of the router?
If you can't find the correct password then you will have not option but to do a factory reset.
WOW - the password was changes over 12 months ago and we have been getting in fine. I have just tried the original password and it worked.
Thanks for the idea - I am not sure how it could have possibly reverted back to the original password buy we are back in:-)

Its not unheard of for an Optus router to revert to factory settings for no apparent reason, so that is a possibility, although it is rare. I've also see reports where kids have done factory resets to bypass parental controls, don't know if that may apply to your situation at all.
Its more likely that it was a restart as the 6 year old whouldnt know about that - just yet:-)
