Legacy Esports Announcements

Last month we announced our partnership with Legacy Esports, one of the top guns within Australia’s growing eSports community.

We're extremely proud of their efforts so far, having clutched their first victory in the Overwatch Contenders clash against the Melbourne Mavericks.

Yesterday, the team managed to walk away with a second win against Athletico. Next week’s match will decide if they retain their spot for next season.

Re: Legacy Esports Announcements

Shout out to the guys who put in a great performance over the weekend during week 7 of the OPL group stages. Unfortunately, they were unable to secure a spot in the playoffs and are no longer contenders for the gauntlet.

With 3 weeks remaining of the OPL group stages, the guys still have an opportunity to increase their current competition standing.

See Legacy redeem themselves on the 02/08/19 against the Direwolves during week 8 of the OPL group stages.

Re: Legacy Esports Announcements

Legacy eSports Azure battled it out in Group C of the StarCraft II WCS Fall OCE/SEA finals. Azure managed to take down Blysk, winning himself a ticket to the decider match. Unfortunately, Azure fell short of securing a spot in the top 8, meeting defeat against Seither.

Tomorrow, we’ll see Probe_SC2 and PeppyHenriques taking on their group in the hopes of making it to the playoffs.

Catch the guys on Twitch tomorrow night @ 8PM.

Re: Legacy Esports Announcements

Last night, our Starcraft II player Sean 'Probe' Kempen won his group in the WCS Fall OCE/SEA Qualifier, which means that he has secured a spot in the Top 8 Playoffs! The Top 2 of those playoffs, which will take place next week, secure a spot at WCS Fall in Kyiv, with travel, accommodation and entrance fully paid.

Re: Legacy Esports Announcements

It wasn't to be for Probe on Wedneday, as he went down to Seither in the WCS Fall OCE/SEA Qualifiers.

Watch the guys take on ORDER in the OPL @7PM AEST.

Re: Legacy Esports Announcements

A huge congratulations to Zoreh and Jahlyn who've returned triumphant from their stay in New York.

The duo competed in the North American Fortnite competition, walking away with multiple top placings. Their stay was topped off by a massive win in week 4 of the trio, taking away the top spot and scoring $60,000 between three players.

Check out the recap of their time in New York below:

Re: Legacy Esports Announcements

Probe has come through with a win at the Australia & New Zealand Qualifier for the Battle Down Under Lan Finals! Probe demolished the competition with a clean 3-0 sweep in the Grand Final.

He'll now be representing ANZ against international competition from Europe, North America and Asia at the finals in Melbourne on October 19th.

If you’d like to get up close and personal with the players, grab a ticket and head down to the Sunshine convention centre.
