My internet always cuts out at 7pm every night. Every time I call optus it comes back on and they say it is working fine. I hang up and of course it cuts out. Any reasons why this could be occurring? Cheers

Peak hour congestion possibly. What sort of internet connection is it?

It is a cable connection to the house. PC, Tv etc connected to the router wirelessly and by cable all drop out at the same time. And it is usually bang on 7pm every night.

Strange that its happening bang on 7pm every night and whilst it is peak time issues with congestion normally don't cut your services off just like that. Did you say the wired devices are cutting out or is everything running on wireless? What does Optus say is causing the issue and is it simply restarting your modem that fixes the problem temporarily?
