I am a new Optus customer, have received my mobile broadband data sim card (and iPad)... but how do I get an email address?

When you sign on to a fixed broadband service with us, you're given a username which also acts as your "primary email address."
If you'd like to set up a secondary email address, you can do so via the settings menu on your Optus.com.au/myaccount.
You'd need to click the corresponding service and select "settings" from the right-hand menu.
