How do I create a secondary email account?

Yes I have read the help page and it didn't help. Is there a phone number I can call?

You won't find it in on line help.

Log in to https://www.optus.com.au/my-account

.Click on username and select Member Services

..Select My Internet Account

Log in again

Go to the User Management box

.Click on Add usernames

Yes there is a phone number you can call but it is really hard to find.

Hey @ReallyMODEDoff, you do not need to go into Member services to add your secondary email account. This can be done directly in My Account just follow these steps: Login into your My Account > On the dashboard - scroll down > click on your username to expand > Click on Settings (right hand side) > Click Manage next to Optus email account > Add email account > Fill out page (full name, username, password) > press ok. If you run into more trouble then chat with our Tech Support team to assist you further.

Cant get into member services?  Get the message

"This site can’t be reached Check if there is a typo in idp.optusnet.com.au."

 

Any suggestions??

Hey @Sydneyrob - Did you get a chance to try Kartika's suggestion of going through the My Account? You should be able to go through this and create the second email address.

Hmm..that's strange.

Can you send our team a message via the My Optus App? They'll be able to assist in creating a new email for you so that you're not faced with troubles.

The time to sort this out is ridiculous. I am working from a laptop and used to be able to see the list of email address associated with my account but now I can't. That can ONLY be an Optus issue!!!  Will leave it until I have more time to waste or until I come up with an alternative provider as I don't have time for this S***
