Home Wireless Broadband Slow Today

Has there been any reporting of the wireless home broadband problems today? The network has been very slow since 7am this morning.

Whether I use Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browsers, pages take a long time to load, The Australian newspaper website never stops loading, and I am unable to login to my account. I am probably putting it down to congestion at the towers, due to the current COVID-19 and Easter Weekend, even though my speeds are near max for my plan 11.04Mpbs DL / 0.94Mpbs UL

I have done 3 Traces  (see below) for Optus, The Australian and Microsoft Australia, which will show how slow things are. I connect to towers in Technology Park, Eveleigh, NSW 2015.

Any information on what the issue(s) are would be appreciated and thank you.

https://www.optus.com.au/about/network/service-status and check for mobile outages in your area.

I am an Optus subscriber, just trying to help.

Thanks Tigers1719, that's the first thing that I check, but there are no tower outages or maintenance work being performed anywhere in the area of the towers.

This post needs to be deleted. Double posting due to slowness of network.

Its now 1.46pm EST, and the network appears back to normal.
