Hmmm... That password or username/email doesn't seem right.

NaomiNorris

Well Optus...   I am trying to reset my modem to factory but before I do it I have to make sure I have the username and passwords correct for my account.  So, this is the second time this week I have tried to do this and the result has been the same.

Hmmm... That password or username/email doesn't seem right.

I went through this last week. Can't guarantee that either of these suggestions will work ... but see if they might.

(1) Even though I already had an Optus account (naked broadband), that had to be linked to My Account. Seems that doesn't happen automatically (go figure).

(2) Once they'd done that, I was surprised to find that my username required my full email address (with the @optusnet part). This was different to my Memberservices login, which doesn't need the rest of the address. In short: try several variants of username.
