High Ping while trying to play on PS4 Pro with AC800S

High Ping from PS4 Pro via AC800S is making online gaming impossible. I've searched on the forum but could not find a solution.

 

Is there any configuration that I could do in the modem to reduce the latency?

 

Location: 2070 (Lindfield)

Questions:

 

What are your speeds like on the service?

Have you always had the issue? 

Where are the game servers located?

 

Testing

 

On the 800s unit itself, click settings

Click network

Click status

 

Reply with what it shows. 

 

E. G. Mine shows this:

 

Status:connected

Rsrp: - 80

Signal strength: 5

Network status: lte

Plmn: 50502

Band: B3

What are your speeds like on the service?

 -A: speeds are OK, 26Mbps DOWN and 1.8 Mbps UP -- from PS4 Pro: Network > Test Internet Connection

Have you always had the issue? 

 - A: I don't keep monitoring a lot as I'm not playing much latetly, but overall latency has been consistenly high (for gaming standards)

Where are the game servers located?

 - A: somewhere in Australia/New Zealand (probably Australia)
