Hardship disconnection

I have been attempting to contact Optus re continuation of hardship provisions as I have had to pay for some large medical bills - specialists and another hospital admission after a heart attack and the number they have left me is blocked. I cannot make any outgoing calls on the home phone or mobile. Optus have now restricted NBN to 0.1/0.1 speed and Its not fast enough to load there web page. Unfortunately I do not think I will be able to call for an ambulance if I have another bleed - the doctor said the next large bleed I have will mean I'll need a transfusion. On 6/1 I communicated with Adrian on their web chat / app on phone and advised them I was having difficulties but now everything seems to have been cutoff. Is there an email address that I can send? Re: Hardship disconnection

Just so you know, you can call 000 from any mobile phone at any time. You do not have to have an account, any credit, or even a SIM in the phone.

Re: Hardship disconnection

That's right, as well as being able to dial 112 for emergencies.

This should only happen if a agreed to payment arrangement has been broken.

What is the Optus number has it been blocked? Is it the 1300 308 839 number listed on the Optus Financial Hardship policy page?

Are you able to borrow a family member/friend/neighbour's phone, rbrooks737?
