Went to get a Google home (monthly payment $8) and re-contract my NBN bundle today only to be told that the Google Home deal is only for new credit checked customers on new contracts on the phone. Went to a store who was unsure of the process and has been chasing it up. The store has now been back in contact with me and is doing a really fantastic job in sorting this out. It is great to see.
