I have tried to do my adsl connection as explained in the document of the modem, but it’s still not connected to internet.
I have done all the troubleshooting steps as:
- restart computer
- restart modem
- check modem connection
- check lights and it’s still not working
the dsl and the WiFi lights are blinking fast, it means it’s trying to connect to your servers but nothing is happening, no connection to internet.
Please help me to connect my modem to internet

It sounds like you have tried everything possible from your end so we may need to open a fault report for investigation on our end, and possibly send over a technician. Please give our Pre-Activation Team a call while you are at home on 1300739402 Mon - Fri: 8am - 8:00pm, Sat: 8:30am - 5:30pm (AEDT). They will check it out and make sure any network issues are fixed up asap.
I received this sms yesterday:
Dear customer, your second optus technician will attend 17/04/2018 12PM-5PM to finalize your connection.
The result is that I have been locked in the house all tday and nobody came.
It's incredible that 22 days after purchasing the service, I still don't have internet.
Incredible that I had to be at home all day, and nobody solved the problem. Incredible that the first technician came last friday, and didn't even check that the internet connection was working.
Never seen something like this before in Europe at least.
Very very disapointed and chocked by the quality of the service here in Australia.
Hi, so I have internet finally! the tecnician came this morning and solved it.
Now, I need help to claim the money of the days I haven't had internet.
I received the bill and the activation date is the 13rd but the real activation is today the 20 th of april.
Can you help?
