Email inbox limit

Hi,

The last time I went on holidays overseas for 4-5 weeks I had problems with the old e-mail from optus telling me my mailbox was about to reach its limit.

I use windows live mail on my desktop/pc at home, but when I am away I use an android tablet with a gmail app which has my optus account on it.

The trouble I have is I can't delete the emails in my inbox from the Optus server. Can any body help?

Thanks

Re: Email inbox limit

Both those mail clients should have the ability to remove mail from the server in the advanced mail settings. Alternatively you can login to Optus webmail and delete them manually if you wish.

Edit: If you are having troubles finding this setting in the advanced mail settings of your mail client the link below may help. You just need to untick leave messages on the server if you are using a pop account.
