I have a DPQ3925 router and the wifi is dropping out at least 4 times a day ... gettimg progressively worse. I contacted Optus support and they attributed the dropouts to "congestion" on my line and in my area. I'm still doubtful that this is the real problem, as I have read on these boards that replacing the modem has fixed the problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this type of issue with their router?
Andrew...contact any of the mods here (who are usually pretty good). Have your account number handy and then ask one of them, by PM, if they can arrange a replacement modem. It's really not a big deal to do this as they want to maintain your customer allegiance. If the faults still happen after that you need to get an Optus tech to come out and check the line from the pit in the street to your house.
