It seems almost impossible to talk to someone at customer care unless you are willing to spend the whole day! The average waiting time of 45 minutes! Does that mean there is that many complaints/ customer calls and not enough resources to handle such a situation? Your quiery is answered or not that’s another worry.

It appears there's something pretty wrong with response times at Optus.
Phoning is painful. Online LiveChat used to be pretty responsive but also appear to be sufferring more theses days.
I hope Optus are doing something about it - but it appears to be a big problem that's developed slowly and will take time (and winllingness) to improve again.
