As with a number of other posts - I have moved across to Optus ADSL from Telstra cable and cannot even stream a movie to watch. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to improve solution. I am on the $80 plan with better modem. Have a very unhappy family

Any time you have a problem, check out our network status page for any reported problems in your area.
If you're still not getting anything, there's a troubleshooting guide with basics tests to run through.
Your ADSL speeds can be affected by lots of variables too, this guide has a lot of handy information for things to look out for.
If all else fails, we'll need to have Tech Support check it out immediately on 131344 or via Live Chat. They will be able to open an investigation to find the cause from our end.
