Have tried changing filter, reset modem, switched off power etc.
I even switched off all devices including Fetch top box and leave only the laptop connected via wifi.
This is hopeless and my wife and I need to work from home.
Is it a modem problem as I have seen in the forum?

When you say "drop out", do you find the internet light on the modem flashes? or is it still solid and you cannot browse?
The problem with "working from home" on a consumer plan, you have no protections.
What kind of internet? DSL, Cable, NBN(what type please)?
Can you please get the DSL stats out of the modem?
Do you use a line filter?
Do you use the home phone?
