Command Prompt Administrator setting for connecting Optus to the broadband internet

Hi There,

I had a doom a death stop code which is now resolved by resetting my pc and reinstalling apps but i somehow stuffed up my Internet settings in command prompt specifically for optus. I still have a red x indicator saying i'n not online but am online temporary but i do troubleshoot it says reset your internet connection as a administator.

So this is what ive been trying to do!!

Type in Command Prompt

Run as Administator

/release

/renew

but need someone to type out the prompts for me. I'm very basic on this thanks Chris

Ethernet or wifi?

Whatever, I would go to Network and Sharing centre in control panel. From there, I would delete adapters in Manage Wireless Networks and Change Adapter settings.
