Hi there, I am on a broadband plan that has lasped and would like to change to a $90 month to month plan. Having chatted to optus chat, was told that they did not have the ability to change to the month to month plans but only had the provisions to recontract me on the 24 month plan. Is this correct? Thanks.
P.S could not do it online as they are having i.t issues?
Seems bizarre that custoemrs know more about optus products then the customer service.
You should be able to transition onto the $90 M2M plans for no cost. Currently there's no minimum just a $200 setup fee which if you have the modem you need already will normally be waived by the service agent when you mention you're already out of a 24 month contract (there's really no setup happening).
I'd contact again and see if you can't find a better informed agent.
