Ah, awesome to hear guys! I hadn't received any official communication advising of a fix but the proof is in the pudding. If the issue comes up again, feel free to bump this thread.
@BlackMonk, that's my mistake in regards to the DNS option. DNS settings are fixed on the CG3000 and Sagemcom modems. The only way around this is to bridge your modem to a non-Optus supplied router.
same issue here with optus cable, still not 100% fixed, https://www.qq.com, https://web.wechat.com/, they only can be opened without any formating, very slow without any image and format, unreadable text only, i manually tested both optus DNS and google DNS but no success, no problem when using Optus 3G network, definitely optus cable internet issue
met the same issue. and try to contact tech team, they said cable is all good.
can't visit https://mp.weixin.qq.com/, sohu.com, qq.com
try to change the DNS, it doesn't work.
