Can i break the Optus contract agreement?

hey there

i signed an contract agreement with Optus 12 months ago for NBN service ( the contract agreement length is 24 months ). So, have is consumed.

Now, i am moving to another house and asked customer services to re-locate my NBN services to my new house. HOWEVER, they said that the NBN service is not provided to my new area!.

what is your suggestion? is it possiple to break my agremeent with Optus for this reason? if yes, what cost?

thank you

Re: Can i break the Optus contract agreement?

Generally if you move house you are still under contract.

Usual proceedure is Optus just continue providing intenet at the new house.

However if Optus can't provide a service they usually ok to end the contract (no penalty).

So it might not be the NBN, but can Optus provide a (any) service to you new home?
