Hi, Caller ID is not showing on my parents home phone which was recently connected to the nbn. I can't call optus from their house as optus not accepting non urgent calls at moment. I do have their account details though. Also I bought them a Uniden DECT 1735+2 cordless phone set & the answering system is not recording messages. It just makes a funny noise. Do we have to turn off an optus voicemail option or something? The message I receive when calling them is different to what is on the phone system.
Unless you have third party authority access to their account, your parent who is the Account Holder will need to contact Optus (at a later date as you mentioned) to have these features enabled.
