I have Optus Cable Broadband with a SB5101i Surfboard Cable Modem connected to a Belkin F5D8233-4v3 wireless router. This system is in need of replacement as we are getting numerous dropouts. Any suggestions?
Its possible the equipment is at fault but its also possible the cable connection is developing issues. The entire Optus cable network is due to be scrapped in the next two years. With the coming of the NBN and recent large increases in households and data consumption on the Optus network there's not been much maitenance or upgrading being done I suspect.
