Cable Modem Wifi Hangs needing reboot

Hi


Every 2to 3 days I have to reboot my cable modem wifi.  It's a new Sagemcom cable and wifi unit.  I've checked for channel interfernce and nothing is within range using the same channel. 

 

Any suggestions ?

 Hi @grantsayer, do you have the dual band AC version of our Sagemcom modem?

 

If so, there's the option to select from two SSID (Network names), that's the 2.4Ghz band and the 5Ghz band (AC).

 

Have you tried connecting to both? If so, is there any difference in performance?

Yes have the dual band modem so have the 2.4gHz and 5gHz spectrums.  WHen the modem gets ‘stuck’ its the same for both bands and on some devices, such as iPad the system will prompt for the wifi password again and then when entered it repeats the prompt.

 

So all in all - it just gets stuck and the only fix is to cold restart.
