Cable Dropouts

Drop outs happening consistently since changing over to Optus. Speed is good when connected but then no connection for about 2 minutes. Switch off the NBN box and Modem. Works for a while and then drops out again. Cleared cache. Tried new browser etc. Have called many times but doesn't fix the problem. Paying $100 a month for a service that is second rate. If you can't fix the problem and give me what I'm paying for, then I'd like to terminate the contract.

Hi, 

 

Have you done a hard reset on the Sagem modem? That fixed the drop out for me. Also, what device(s) is on your network? Anything that might cause an IP conflict causing unstablility? Also, check for any faulty cable, I recently found a faulty Cat6 cable on my network causing drop out.
