Broadband Expensive

I have 3 family members on Optus sharing 22GB of data allowance but each month our group is using at least another 5GB at a cost of $10.00 per GB. Does anyone else have a better plan otherwise I will move all phones to Telstra because my wife has 3 phones under her group Telstra group and their share data allowance is 33GB per month and it is a faster service?

Depends what your circumstances are.

Are you on 12 months plans or going month to month? 

Are you paying off the handsets or SIM only?

How much are you paying now?

If you're an average bunch of users then you're paying between $30 and $40 a month for your data (for each phone).

$120 a month for 22Gb of data isn't a very good deal these days. Simply switching to 3 new $40 plans would boost you to 45Gb of shared data a month. Or perhaps just switch one of the phones to the $50 a month plan and get 30Gb of shareable data for that one alone.

PS I think you want to post under the MOBILE section for this issue? you're not referring to 'broadband' data but 'mobile' data.
