ADSL data usage

I have ADSL2 and want to check my monthly data usage. There does not seem to be any way to do this however via the members portal. All I can find is billing information

Hi @EbonP, as long as the service has been linked to your My Account profile, you can view usage online.

 

- Log in to your My Account

- Displayed under Your services should be your Optus broadband username.

- Click on your username

- Click on Usage details from the menu on the right hand side of your screen.

- Enter the dates you wish to see your usage for

Thanks but when I do that I cant change the date range (if I change the dates the data displayed doesnt change) and I also want to know my monthly totals, not daily.  Is there any way to do that?

The only way would be to add up each date individually. We don't keep a running total.

 

Maybe, try entering your bill period start date and end date. 

 

In recent years our in-market plans have come with unlimited data. What sort of data cap do we have on your plan?

As I said, changing the start and end date doesnt seem to do anything.  I am on unlimited data at the moment but ss part of moving to the NBN I'm reconsidering if that is necessary and looking at plans with data limits but I need to know how much data I actually use.  I'm kind of amazed that optus doesnt offer this information, just another reason I'm probably going to move away from optus.

Hey @EbonP, if your address is serviceable with NBN then we still offer unlimited plans. Check out this → link for more info. In saying that, we can speak with Tech Support to see if they can pull out your data usage from previous months if you still need it. Can you please PM us → here your home phone number / account number, full name and date of birth to proceed.
