802.11ac on Optus Cable

Hey there,

Do Optus supply 802.11ac Wi-Fi as part of their cable broadband offering?

If so, how do I go about getting my hands on one of these routers?

Cheers,

m.

Generally, the modem routers they supply have very short range and low capacity. You have to buy another router or range extender to make it work for a large house or many occupants.

Actually, I see here:

http://www.optus.com.au/shop/support/answer/modem-equipment-setup-user-guides-fixed-broadband?reques...

that an 802.11ac option is available for Cable users.  @Optus, how would I go about requesting one of these?

Everything has wifi, nowadays. You can't avoid it. Optus supplies Sagemcom, which you have to work with, not rejoice in.
