I am not yet on the NBN but I have cable internet plus PREMIUM SPEED!!!
My internet has been a horror for the past few weeks and this morning my download was 0.71Mbps. It was 8.30AM so don't go blaming congestion.
My internet was poor like this many months ago, improved and is back to being horrible.
Come on Optus, do something.

Oh no! Sorry to hear you're having issues with your connection.
We're here to help, so let's get this one sorted for you.
I would recommend your first stop is the following troubleshooting page. You may have tried a few of the things listed, but worth going through as it could be something quickly self-fixed.
If that doesn't work, then your best bet is to contact Optus via live chat (http://yesopt.us/chat2us) or phone. They'll be able to run some tests and help.

If you haven't done so already, we'd also suggest checking our Network Status page for any outages in your area. You'll need to select Outages in the top right corner of the map and then tick the option for 'Fixed'. From there you just need to enter your address and/or postcode.
