3rd party modem

JamesGome89

Hi i have nbn and a Netgeard7000 and would like to use it instead the optus modem.  I've tried netgear on its own won't connect to the internet also tried running it off the optus modem and still no internet.  Is there any way of fixing this?

What type of NBN service do you have? If it's FTTP, HFC or FTTC, you can plug straight into the NBN "modem" from the first port on the NBN modems side into the WAN port of your router.
