*UPDATE: Delivery timeframes for Mighty set top boxes have returned back to 5-10 business days. For more information, please click here.

There is currently a high demand of stock for Yes TV by Fetch Mighty STBs due to the popularity of the current $80 Broadband plan. As a result, there are extended timeframes for the delivery of Mighty STB.

If you have recently signed up to the $80 Broadband plan, you can expect your Mighty STB to be delivered within 10-15 working days of your order being submitted. Due to high demand, delivery is likely to be closer to 15 working days.

Note: Mini STBs will be delivered within 5 to 10 working days of ordering.

Once your STB leaves the Optus warehouse, you'll receive a SMS letting you know that the set top box is on its way, along with your activation code.

If you've ordered more than one set top box, you'll receive a SMS for each box. You can use any of the activation codes to activate all of your STBs.

Expected Delivery Timeframes

If you’re an exisiting Optus customer with any of the following requests, you can expect your Mighty STB set top box to be delivered in 15 working days for any:

  • Rate plan changes
  • Warranty replacements
  • Upgrade from Gen 1 or Gen 2 to Mighty STB
  • Addition of a second of third Mighty STB

If you are a new Optus customer and have signed up for a $80 broadband plan on ADSL2+, NBN or Cable, you can expect your Mighty set top box to be delivered in 15 working days after your order being submitted.

If you are a new Optus customer and have signed up for a $120 Reach Broadband Plan or Postpaid Mobile plan which includes Yes TV by Fetch, you can expect your Mighty STB to be delivered in 15 working days after activation of your broadband or mobile service.

What’s the expected timeframe to receive your Mighty STB?

This depends on your order type. Please refer to the above Expected Delivery Timeframe.

I have just signed up and received an email/SMS that there is a delay. What does this mean?

Don’t worry, this means your STB will be delivered in 10-15 working days from the day you ordered it. Due to popular demand, delivery is likely to be closer to 15 working days.

How can I watch Optus Sport without my Yes TV by Fetch STB?

You can access Optus Sport by downloading the Optus Sport app on Mobile or Tablet (Android or iOS only) or visit to view on your desktop. Alternatively, you can watch Optus Sport on Apple TV app (Gen 4), Apple Airplay and Chromecast (if you have these devices)

Can I start using the Yes TV by Fetch App (Companion App)?

You will be able to use the Yes TV by Fetch Companion App once your STB has arrived.  If you are an existing Yes TV by Fetch customer with an active set top box, you can install and start using the app at any time.

Will new customers still be charged the additional $20 (broadband+fetch is $80, broadband only is $60) for a monthly service we will only be able to use for the remaining 15 days of the monthly subscription?

I agree with gg206. I hope we will not be charged for a service we are not receiving?

Hi gg206

The total fee won't take affect until you receive your fetch TV box . If you do get charged the additional $20, jump onto live chat → and an agent can place a refund for you.

Hey @Flemming, it definitely sounds like there's been an issue with your order. I'd definitely expect that you'd have received your set top box by now. I'm happy to check how the order is progressing from my end. Are you able to send us a PM with your account details? We need your full name, DOB and account number. I should be able to offer you a tracking reference number and link to track the package once it's been dispatched from our warehouse.

Thank you Dan_C ... I have just talked with Optus. Something went wrong with the order, so the supporter placed the order again ... and made a refund.

Ah, no problem @Flemming, did we have the order sitting in limbo since it'd initially been placed? The extended delivery time frame no longer applies. We should have the new set top box out to you within our standard delivery time frame of 5-10 business days. If you have any other questions for us, feel free to send them through. You can even chat to one of our mods via private message.
