This charming coming-of-age story follows Simon, a high school student who’s been keeping a secret from his parents, friends and classmates. He’s gay. So when a blackmailer threatens to expose him, Simon must face everyone he knows, all while trying to learn the identity of the person he’s fallen in love with online.

Worlds collide in The Big Sick as Pakistani-born Kumail Nanjiani (who plays himself), a struggling comedian with overbearing and traditional Muslim parents, falls in love with an Anglo-American student. But that’s just the beginning of their troubles, as Emily is struck down with a mystery illness.

This classic is so good it’s been remade three times since the original in 1937, this time starring the phenomenal Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper (making his directional debut). Gaga’s character is ready to give up on her dreams of becoming a singer, until she meets Jack (Cooper) who believes in and encourages her natural talent.

Another a-list cast with Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves playing the socially awkward Lindsay and Frank. But mutual dislike soon becomes desire as the couple can’t stay away from each other.

After the heartbreaking end of his marriage, a lonely introvert (played by Joaquin Phoenix) purchases an operating system upgrade which includes an artificially intelligent virtual assistant “Samantha” (voiced by Scarlett Johansson).
