If you have an eligible plan or service, an Optus Sport Premium Subscription may be available at no extra cost.  If not, you may be able to add it for $15/month. This amount will be charged to your Optus bill. You can check whether your plan or service is eligible for Optus Sport here. If you find your plan is not eligible, don’t worry you can still get a Premium Subscription. Just read the section below on how to do this.  

 

 

I’m not an Optus customer or have not previously been eligible for Optus Sport

 

If you’re not an Optus customer (i.e. you’re with Telstra, Vodafone or another provider) or were previously not eligible for Optus Sport (i.e. you are an Optus Prepaid/Optus Business customer or have an Optus broadband plan that is not eligible to add a subscription) you can now get an Optus Sport Premium Subscription for $14.99/month. You can purchase a Premium Subscription through the Optus Sport app, available to download from Google Play or the App Store.

 

You’re free to cancel your subscription at any time and you can do so via Google Play or the App Store. Please note: your subscription will continue until the end of your current 30-day billing period.

Optus prepaid customers need to have a positive MyData/MyCredit balance in order to access Optus Sport or Optus Sport Premium content.  For prepaid customers on Daily Plans, accessing the Optus Sport app will trigger a daily charge.

 

Optus Sport is delivered using Adaptive Bitrate Streaming Technology at a resolution of up to 720p. Optus Sport will work best when you have an internet bandwidth of 3Mbps or greater. Note that the use of other internet applications on the same internet connection at the same time may cause a degradation in video quality.

Any news about the possible upgrade of stream quality from 720 to 1080? In the US Hisense built in app going to stream all the 64 games in 4K !!!
