Hmm I had an older one of these many years ago and it was simply brilliant. If only Apple new the value of sdcards they might gain a bit more of the market.

When will these start shipping? Placed my order 21/8 and understood they would ship from 3/9. Order status still shows waiting for tablet to arrive at warehouse!!!! JBHiFi have been selling these in store and online for about a week.

Same situation here, placed the order on 20 Aug, and still showing no delivery update? At this rate, might as well cancel and wait for the ipad pro 2018 that may be released on 13/Sep...really upset with Optus' performance when JBHifi or good guys has stock, what is the point of pre-ordering then?

My text message order confirmation now says order will be delivered within 5days starting from last thursday or friday
tomorrow tuesday being the last day, how ever no tracking no? to be found yet.
But still 1 day to go let you know if anything happens.

To those who are also still waiting, I just finished speaking to support and long story short is that they have no stock in their warehouse and they couldn't give me any indication of when they would be receiving more.
I spoke to a couple of local stores as well who said they don't have any stock either but one said they had some due tomorrow but the only way I could get one of those is if I cancelled my preorder and signed up in store so at least there's that option.
Interesting you got told that. Just now the online chat support told me that they have stock but no SIM CARD available hence why the delay. I think what you were told might be more true then what I have been told. 😞
How can a big telco like Optus ran out of SIM card, this is like BP ran out of petrol to sell. Oh well, maybe delay is good then I will wait till IPAD Pro 2018 release and buy outright and not giving my precious dollars to a company who is not interested in taking my money.

@Kartika I wish to say yes I will order one, the problem is I submitted the order on 20 Aug...still waiting for my tablet...which still show in processing (no update since 20 Aug) in your tracking system.
Optus chat couldn't confirm this of course, but the Tab model is the 4G SM-T835 (not the T830) right?
