Due to a publishing issue, the Round 8 Premier League Schedule wasn’t published on Friday as usual. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.
The good news is, we still have 1 match left for Round 8, the hotly anticipated Red Monday (Tuesday morning for us Aussies) match between fierce rivals Manchester United and Liverpool FC. A win for United would equal their longest winning streak against Liverpool in the Premier League, having previously clocked up five wins in a row between January 2006 and March 2008. Liverpool’s longest winning run against United stands at four, cumulated between December 2000 and January 2002. United head into the match three points behind Liverpool in sixth place so they’ll be looking for a win to move up the table ahead of their opponents who currently lie in fourth.
