Introducing Optus’ new Wireless Broadband plans

From Thursday 6 December 2018 the new $60/month and $80/month Wireless Broadband plans will be available to both new and recontracting customers (including consumer and SMB customers using their ABN/ACN).

Check our new Wireless Broadband modem, the B818

$60/month Wireless Broadband plan:

This plan includes 200GB of data.

$80/month Wireless Broadband plan:

This plan includes a whopping 500GB of data.

Both new Wireless Broadband plans are available in either a month-to-month contract or 24-month contract. An Optus modem is provided for no upfront cost with the 24-month contract. Customers on a month-to-month plan will need to purchase a modem at an upfront cost.

T’S & C’S

1.1 Optus Wireless Broadband

Fair Go Policy Applies

OPTUS WIRELESS BROADBAND (24 MONTH PLANS): Your device repayments are reduced by a monthly credit. If you need to cancel your plan there are no plan cancellation fees, simply pay out the remaining full cost of your device which will include paying the monthly credit value that Optus was going to cover.

SPEED – OPTUS WIRELESS BROADBAND: Speeds are variable on the Optus 4G mobile network and will depend on a number of factors including congestion, location, local conditions, hardware, software and general internet traffic.

The SIM supplied with the modem must not be removed and will not work in any other device.

ADDITIONAL DATA – OPTUS WIRELESS BROADBAND: If you use more than 50GB of top-up data on a single billing account, we may continue to charge you at the same rates, restrict your data use or slow your speed to 256Kbps until the next billing period.

COVERAGE: Coverage availability will vary depending on your device and location. Check coverage at based on your address and device.

Does not cover if you have the b525 or 800s outright from a different Optus plan, if you can just get sim only instead of buying the same device again.
