Optus WiFi Talk app will no longer be available from 28th September 2018.
How to stay connected:
WiFi Talk is an Optus app that lets you make and receive calls and texts using your Optus mobile number over a WiFi connection when you have limited mobile coverage.
As a potential solution, customers who have a compatible handset and are Postpaid customers, can turn on WiFi Calling on their phone. Optus WiFi Calling lets you make and receive calls, MMS and SMS from your smartphone over an accessible WiFi network connection.
Available to Optus post-paid customers with selected compatible 4G devices, WiFi Calling lets you call and text as normal when you’re at home, in the office, or out and about in places where you can access WiFi.
