Does this apply to existing 24 month plans, or only new 24 month plans?

Hi there, I would also like clarification on whether this applies to existing 24 month contracts?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Oethesaint & @TW20 - Customers on in-market 24M plans on $40 and above will have the subscription included. Customers on legacy plans between $40 and $85 will be billed from 4th August. Our eligibility checker is available here. Smiley Happy

Hey @Hannah-L.

I signed up in Janurary and was told It was for the life of the contract. Now I am being told on Chat that its only for new subscribers and not existing 24 month contracts?! Which is contraditory to what you are saying. I used the eligability checker but it just said I already had a sub?

Can you help?

Thanks

Hey danosul, if you signed up in January there's a good chance you're on an in market plan and Optus Sports would be included Smiley Happy In market plans only available since 03/07/2017.

Happy to double check for you if you like, you'd just need to PM me your account number, full name, and DOB.

Cheers,

Jordan

There's been some confusion about what is classed as an "in-market plan". I've had confirmation that this refers to our current range of My Plan Plus plans, which have been available since 03/07/2017. Anyone taking up a plan before this date would have been advised it was included in post-paid handset plans of $85 or more.

If you have been given conflicting information, the eligibility checker will be able to verify your subscription status. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Is it possible for someone at Optus to check if I'm eligible for EPL service, as my plan is about 5 months into a 24 month My Plan Plus. The eligibility checker is saying that I have an active EPL service, but I'm suspicious that it might no longer be active after the 31st July and I'll have an automatic payment of $15 a month rolling over? I can provide personal details if someone can PM me.

Thanks in advance!
