The countdown to the biggest sporting event on earth is on.
Optus Sport has the exclusive rights to broadcast all 64 matches from the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ live, plus we’ll have round-the-clock coverage, highlights and interviews from the tournament. Please note: Optus is not a sponsor of or associated with the Socceroos or Football Federation Australia.
Will the Socceroos be there? Only time will tell. After scraping through with a 2-1 extra-time win over Syria, Australia now face Honduras in the 2018 FIFA World Cup™ Intercontinental Playoff (CONCACAF-Asian zone). The result of these matches (one away, one at home) will decide which team heads to Russia next June.
Update - 16 November: After their epic 3-1 win over Honduras on Weds 15 November, the 'Roos have now cemented their place in Russia! Congratulations to Mile and the team.
