New Community Feature – Badges!

Drum roll please! We’re so excited to announce our brand new community feature- badges! Badges will be awarded to our finest community members recognising their contributions and sometimes just for being totally awesome.  When you earn a new badge, we’ll let you know via a notification, just as you would when you get a private message or reply and things like that (except for badges you’ve already earned).

 

Over time we’ll continue to add more badges for you to earn,  so if you think you’ve got them all – you might like to know we’ve got some great stuff in store for you down the track!.

 

If you want to view which badges you've received so far simply take a look at your community profile by clicking on your username in the top right hand corner (you'll need to be on the homepage for this).

Keep your badges.  Pathetic.  Fix my problems...maybe even be so polite to call back...or somehow make me not wait on hold for over an hour before cutting out....and I will give you a badge!

 

Seriously pathetic by Optus.  I can't believe there is a company out there that thinks giving out internet badges is useful.

However I did just get through to Optus after 70 minute wait, so working on the problem

Suggest creating a thread with your experience/what you need a hand with so the community can help.

I have just been awarded a badge for having five posts on the cancelling HomeZone page. All of which were very negative about Optus, what a joke.

Re the comment by Derick888 at 11:58 on 6th Dec. Either it is totally tongue in cheek or he works for Optus.

If he works for Optus he should be sacked. Has he actually read any commnets in this thread? He gave me a Kudos for my early comment where I say the whole thing is a joke.

Optus please remove me from this rediculous blog or whatever it is called and go and do some thing useful like figure our why some of my sms's take 24 hrs to reach me.

Nice all these badges, but I'd rather have the help desk reply to and fix ongoing issues that are being reported! For example in this super long thread 

"Cable wifi dropouts on Apple MBP 15"

If Optus don't resolve my issue (not receiving billing notification via email) any time soon, you can take your badge and stick it where it fits!!!

Very very frustrated with the service of Optus in the first day. So poor customer care. I have spent 4 hours talking to different people in the customer care but none could solve the problem and still my SIM card is not activated.
