Movie Frenzy takes over Fetch, August 3-5

There’s nothing worse than trying to escape the cold winter with a warm night in when there’s nothing to watch on TV. The good news is that we’ve got that sorted.

 

From Friday August 3 to Sunday August 5 you’ll be able to rent a bunch of awesome new releases and  much-loved classics from as a little as 99c to $2.99 in the Fetch Movie Store. Cancel plans, settle in, because the sale is open to all active Fetch customers.

 

Here’s what to do to find the discounted titles in the Movie Store.

 From August 3, go to the  Fetch Main Menu, navigate to Movies > Select Movie Store from the drop-down menu >  Go to the Themes Tab > Select either of the 3 below price theme tiles > Rent your chosen Movie > prepare the popcorn > start watching.

If you haven’t used the Movie Store on Fetch before, now is your chance to give it a go. The Yes Crowd team recommend Rampage, Ready Player One, The Incredibles or Peter Rabbit. None of these appeal to you?  Don’t worry, there are so many to choose from.

Experienced repeated payment authorisation failures during peak time on Saturday night. The failures impacted both the  Fetch box (mighty) and the Android mobile app. Ended up giving up after the ~20th attempt across multiple movies and devices, spanning a quarter hour or so.

 

It is a shame that you run a promotion like this but your systems are unable to cope with interest in it during predictable timeframes. I was hoping this type of problem would have been resolved by now given the very public issues with the soccer coverage more than a month ago.
