Meet your Google Assistant

google-home-00.png

Google Home is a voice-activated speaker powered by the Google Home Assistant. Ask it questions. Tell it to do things. It’s your own Google, always ready to help. Just start with “Ok Google”.

Get answers from Google

Get real-time answers including the latest on weather, traffic, sports, finance, local businesses and more. Ask for things like translations, calculations, nutritional information and unit conversions hands-free. Or search for any other information you’re curious about.

Enjoy your music

With a simple voice command, play tunes from your favourite services like YouTube Music, Spotify, Google Play Music and more. Enjoy even more compatible audio services by streaming directly from your phone to Google Home. Please note: Google Home is optimised for selected music and audio services only. Subscription payments may be required.

Manage your everyday tasks

Easily hear your travel itinerary, daily schedule and more. Just ask “how long will it take to get to work?” to find out about your commute and get real-time answers you need, right away. Google Home even curates daily information specific to you. Just start by saying “tell me about my day” and get up to speed on everything you need to know.

Control your smart home

Simply ask Google Home to stream videos to your TV with Chromecast*, from all your favourite streaming services like Stan and Netflix. Or turn on compatible smart devices like switches and lights.

Not for me thanks, I'm trying hard to get Google OUT of my home. I've never trusted Google with privacy and have recently began deleted everything Google - which is a bit easier for me because I use mostly Apple devices. The concept seems good though, I shall wait until Apple bring out a competitive product.

ShowBox is a great new movie and tv watching app that is regularly updated to weed out bugs and glitches.
You can also download videos via ShowBox and save them directly to your device.
While the app is built for Android, it can also work on Windows if you know how to use an emulator. To know more about the application check out this website ShowBox App Download

If re-contracting in-store, on an $8 per month plan, is the Google home posted out or is it handed over in-store?
