When a new Android Operating System update is announced by Google there are a few steps that take place before it becomes ready for your device. The manufacturer receives the update and customises the software for the device and mobile carriers in each country. Once this is completed they’ll send the update to the carriers for testing.

For more info on this process check out our page:

Android Device Updates - What's The Process?

The below table provides information on the latest Android updates we’ve received for testing and approval as of the 19/09/2018. If no information is listed, it means we haven't received the build or any new details from the manufacturer.

When a version is marked as completed it means testing has been finished on our end and approved.  Each manufacturer has a process for releasing updates to devices and once we approve the update, it’s sent back to the manufacturer to be released through their standard update processes. Generally, updates are rolled out progressively, for example the manufacturers might make the update available for a small number of users (i.e. 5%) initially; then if no unforeseen problems pop up, it’ll gradually be made available to more and more users over the following weeks.

Thankyou Optus for updating the updates with more useful information regarding when an estimated update will arrive. Much more useful than before

Looking forward to the Mate 10 pro update. The main criticism of this phone in reviews was the software so it is important that you keep updating. They are a long way ahead of us in Europe and Asia where they get updates bi monthly for this device.

Good news for note 8 owners, there is a new update coming with the September security patch that will give us the new slow motion camera and the AR emojis of the 9 series. Woohoo looking forward to that.

How long is it going to take for you guys to update the S7 and S7 edge OS version? Guys are a bit behind considering  that the devices have been update to Android 8.0, and you guys are still displaying  7.0.  Get yout acts  together guys. the community  has informed you of this error a number of times

It's 29th and yet still no update from mate pro 10. Why it taking so long? The status is shown complete, what that mean? I still don't have any update

I am having a Mate 10 pro with Optus, this update testing has been completed since 12th Sep 2018. Today is 13th October 2018. I am yet to received any update from Optus since build c34 (Security update in May). I am getting sick of slow update from Optus. It is time to leave a provider that is so lag. Smiley Sad

@Buzz83 Still waiting for your Android Auto fix?

Base 37 update came and did nothing... but I'm advised by Huawei Australia the next Optus software update for the Mate 10 Pro will fix the Android Auto connectivity issue.

Will Optus, who I'm advised by Huawei have possession of the update, be responsive and let it's customers have the update ASAP?

Today they should update the list to be 06/12/2018. Let's see.

I'm so glad I got rid of my Mate 10 pro... Optus made that thing next to useless. They should have given me a refund I reckon. But I sold it instead.
