How can Optus charge me extra for 'shared data' when I didn't ask for this, plus I only have one mobile phone. I phoned Optus when I first noticed this on my account and was told I didn't have 'shared data'.
Hi @bobcat12, you've been charged for an additional excess data level? If you have two or more post-paid mobile or mobile broadband services the data is pooled and shareable between the services. Obviously if you only have the one service, your data will not be shared.
There is no charge for 'shared data' (even those that have it)
What does your bill say specifically?
